Monday's are okay days. There are those kind of days that means that you have to go to work and not be lazy anymore. Which is a good thing if you think about it. Not everyone can be lazy. Well I had morning class at 7:45. So I had to get up at 6:30, but had an alarm go off at 6am. I thought that I had turned it off, but I didn't. That was rude...to myself? Also the WEATHER could not make up its mind. It wanted to snow and be sunshiny all at the same time and it just was not working for me. It was cold and then warm and then cold again. it really put me out, having to wear a sweater and then I didn't have to. I was like make up your mind weather?
In a class today we had a Know Your Neighbor Quiz. Thankfully it was only first names. I passed with flying colors and got everyone's name right. I am so happy. There were 40 other students in the class. I love that class and I really didn't want to take it. My soul is crying out for agriculture classes, I guess. I don't know. We will see what happens later in the school year.
Really nothing other than that had been going on today. So I guess that it is. Till next time.

The Weekend
Well, this weekend a roommate had some friends visit. So the apartment has been pretty cramped and I am ready for it to be quite and calm. It was also raining so everyone stayed inside. So...I had to get out or go crazy and not the good kind of crazy. Jane Doe and I, went and played Sardiens and then went and saw Captain America: the Winter Soldier! It was great a second time around as well. I enjoy watching Superhero movies. We both got to thinking about what kind of power that we would want and I and would like to control water or have the powers of Mother Nature (aka weather, the ability to grow things, etc). I think that it would so cool.
So this last Friday, Jane Doe and I came to an agreement about the lovely smells that they have for men. There is just something about it that is so good. I don't know what, but I can't help but love it. Then I was talking to my roommates and we got on the topic of boys and what kind of boys we like. There is the show called Studio C that had made this hilarious show. It is called the Bad Boy Rap. IT makes me laugh so hard. If you watch it, you will laugh really hard as well.
Now I am watching the Prince of Persia: the Sands of Time. I really like this movie, because it makes me feel warm (and as I have mentioned in my previous posts, I like to be warm). I also think that it is cool when he, meaning Dastan, does all the running on the buildings. I think that it is called par-core? I really don't know, but it makes me want to be able to do that. Which will never really happen in this life. I am okay with that. I also have this weird thing that when I see Dastan, I really want to wash his hair. It is so greasy, so it kills me. Maybe it is just me. I don't know.
Well it is getting late and I need to go. Till next time.

Happy Birthday to Me!!!
Happy Birthday to Me, happy birthday to Me, happy birthday dear Curly Lioness, happy birthday to Me. Today is a very important day for the whole world, because I was born and also..."That's a tough one. I'd have to say April 25th. Because it's not too hot, not too cold, all you need is a light jacket." (I hope that everyone knows this quote! IF you don't it is from Miss Congeniality.)
But seriously today was a great day. My roommate made me French toast and Bacon and both were good. Then I got to get ready for my classes that I had later today. I took my time and was relaxed. Then after my noon class. My parents had asked me to be home between 12:45-1pm. They had gotten me a Sandwich, a pickle, a cookie, Root beer, and a bag of chips from Jimmy John's. You should've seen how big the sandwich was! It was almost too big to go into my mouth, and my jaw popped when I tried to bite down. It was sooo good. I love a Roast beef sandwich. I really like the regular sandwiches, which are kind of plain, but they satisfy my hunger and taste great to my taste buds. Many people have wished me a Happy Birthday and it is just great to have people wish you a happy birthday. I also got to celebrate my birthday with my family before I left home, that was nice. I got two cakes and ribs (that my uncle made for me, because I love ribs!). My Aunt and Cousins made me a pink princess cake that had Tinker Bell in the middle and my mom made me an Ice Cream Cake that was made with Mint Oreo's. Oh my! It was gone within a matter of minutes. It was the best gift my mom could have given me. It satisfied my mint and Oreo craving. If you have never tried I suggest that you make it or find a company that makes it. You wont be sorry (unless you don't like mint or Oreo.). Today I have had Ice cream and frozen Yogurt, and a lot of food. Which is great for a college student. Who would complain of eating too much? Not me, especially not when it is ice cream or belongs to that family.
Something else exciting!!! My Cousin has gotten his mission call and he is going to Arizona. I am so excited for him and know that he will have many opportunities to teach the gospel to those who are ready to hear with their hearts and minds. I hope that he can do his best and meet the people that need him to reach them. My Grandparent's are also in Arizona for their mission as well. But they are in a different part then he will be. But maybe they will see him? Who knows what will happen and why? Some more great news is that my brother, Scout, did really well on the ACT. We are all happy for him, me especially, I hope that he will do well for all of the tests in life.
Me and my roommate watched Mulan and sung to all of the songs. I love the original Disney movies, there is just something about them that makes you feel carefree. It is a nice feeling when you have to do homework and don't want to. But my homework will get done. It will just be tomorrow, because now my body is shutting down after all the sugar that I have just consumed. So I think that I will turn in now (before I can think to write anything that will make this a really long post. (: )

I want it to be Friday
Man do I wish that today was Friday. I want to be able to sleep in and lounge around in my pj's. Unfortunately I can't, because tomorrow is not Saturday. It will actually be Friday and that means that I still have to go to classes. (Sigh.) But the good thing about tomorrow is that it is my birthday. That I am looking forward too. Funny thing is that I kept forgetting that this Friday is my birthday and then I would remember and be all excited for it. Silly little me; I don't know what I am going to do with myself.
Other than wish that today was Friday. I pretty happy because I was able to purchase two books that I really wanted. They are called Preach My Gospel, (this is the miniature version of the big book), and Jesus the Christ, by James E. Talmage. I am so excited to read Jesus the Christ! I have been wanting to read that for a long time now, but I couldn't find it anywhere. Then today I had a couple of hours to wait till my next class, and I was debating on whether or not to go to the University Bookstore. I did and was looking at their books, (that was the real reason why I wanted to go there), when I found it with the missionary books. I was really excited. I didn't have money on me then so I had to go back later to get it. I got them both and now I just want to dive right in Jesus the Christ, but I am making myself wait till I get my homework done before I start reading it. I can't wait! It has really made my day, which may confuse many people who don't really know me or understand me. That's okay, some days I don't really understand myself either. So don't worry you are not the only one.
I also saw this book that looked interesting. It was about Porter Rockwell and all of his deeds. I was really tempted to get it, but I didn't. I think that maybe I will go and get it later; who knows. I also want to see the movie called The Saratov Approach. I don't know what I would have done if I was in their shoes and I am thankful that in the end they were released. It must've been hard for their families and them.
Well it is time to go and get some sleep now. Night and till next time.

Becareful of what you post
So you know how I was just telling you about how I love the spring, because it is warm? Well, guess what I woke up to this morning? That's right snow! I was like are you kidding me? It is almost the end of April. Why is it snowing? A little piece of my soul died at the thought of having to walk to classes in the snow. Thankfully that at the end of my first class it had stopped snowing, but it was still cold. It was cold to me till later in the afternoon. The sun came out and melted the little layer of snow that had stuck to the ground. During the whole day it was windy, which is no surprise if you live here. Other than that. Today was a good day, I enjoyed my classes.
For a class I had to get into a group and read a book called Seedfolks by Paul Fleischman. I thought that it was interesting that the whole book started with a young girl planting lima beans in a empty lot that is a couple of blocks from her apartment. The lot is where everyone dumps their unwanted belongings/trash. Soon one person notices and then more people notice and want to plant their own little garden. Soon multiply people from many different backgrounds are coming together to this empty lot to have their own little garden. The stories of these people are told in the book.
Today I got to email an dear friend of mine, whom is serving a mission. I love getting her letters. I love learning how She is doing and what she has been doing. What she has learned and what she shares with me. Today I learned a lot from her, about things that I have been struggling with (nothing too bad), but with her help and from personal study, and help from Heavenly Father, I have learned more about myself and my faith. Clean checks where today. Thankfully it didn't take too long to clean. We passed, which I am happy about. That is a goal of mine, to do my part to keep the apartment clean or do little acts of service for my roommates. I hope that in doing so to have love and peace in our apartment.

A New Beginning
College is a new beginning. An exciting beginning, one with endless possibilities. I can choose what classes I want and even if I want to do the homework (which of course I will do. I was just saying.). I think I have chosen pretty great classes, even though it will require a lot work and studying. I know that I can do it, but not alone. I am great full to my teachers that are going to teach me and share their knowledge with me. For my loved ones who have helped me get where I need to be. Also to my roommates that are putting up with me. It can't be an easy thing too do. I am excited for spring, (also a beginning), and flowers that are blooming, and the light outside and the WARMTH! I love being warm. It will be exciting to see where this new beginning will take me. I hope to face it with fortitude and grace. Till next time.
