Becareful of what you post

So you know how I was just telling you about how I love the spring, because it is warm? Well, guess what I woke up to this morning? That's right snow! I was like are you kidding me? It is almost the end of April. Why is it snowing? A little piece of my soul died at the thought of having to walk to classes in the snow. Thankfully that at the end of my first class it had stopped snowing, but it was still cold. It was cold to me till later in the afternoon. The sun came out and melted the little layer of snow that had stuck to the ground. During the whole day it was windy, which is no surprise if you live here. Other than that. Today was a good day, I enjoyed my classes.

For a class I had to get into a group and read a book called Seedfolks by Paul Fleischman. I thought that it was interesting that the whole book started with a young girl planting lima beans in a empty lot that is a couple of blocks from her apartment. The lot is where everyone dumps their unwanted belongings/trash. Soon one person notices and then more people notice and want to plant their own little garden. Soon multiply people from many different backgrounds are coming together to this empty lot to have their own little garden. The stories of these people are told in the book.

Today I got to email an dear friend of mine, whom is serving a mission. I love getting her letters. I love learning how She is doing and what she has been doing. What she has learned and what she shares with me. Today I learned a lot from her, about things that I have been struggling with (nothing too bad), but with her help and from personal study, and help from Heavenly Father, I have learned more about myself and my faith. Clean checks where today. Thankfully it didn't take too long to clean. We passed, which I am happy about. That is a goal of mine, to do my part to keep the apartment clean or do little acts of service for my roommates. I hope that in doing so to have love and peace in our apartment.
