A Couple of Days Later

So my plan now is to have a quote that I like with every post.

"Particularly in the home should integrity be taught and practiced
as a basis for its extension in to
community life and all other phases of living."
                                               -N. Eldon Tanner

It has been awhile since I have posted. So I will try to catch you up on my life since then. Um...I went to church and got a new calling. It will be interesting to see what happens. Got my homework done and it was a BEAUTIFUL day and warm!!! So I went on a walk with Jane Doe. We went to the park and played on the swings, sat in the grass (it was great to sit on the grass and not worry about getting chiggers. It was great!). Made cookies and pancakes, also delicious.

Had a weird conversation today. I was on the third floor and leaving the building, when two guys left their classroom ahead of me. I was following then down the stairs when one of the guys in front of me turned around and looked at me said hi and then turned facing forward. I replied hi, back. Then he turned back around towards me and asked if I wanted an apple. I replied back sure. He looked back at me and said, "Really?" I said, yeah. I took an apple and that was the end of our conversation. It may have been a little awkward, but that was it. So I walked home carrying an apple. It was only then, that I thought about taking an apple from strangers; like in the story of Snow White. I was being all fanciful and thinking, maybe he wanted to poison me, I would fall 'asleep', and then he would awaken me with a kiss. (So okay maybe I am a dreamer. Not that I want to be poisoned!). I seriously think that it made my day for something funny.

Other than that I read a book that was called, Stories from the Life of Porter Rockwell; it was written by John W. Rockwell & Jerry Borrowman. It was an really interesting read. I learned so many things about Porter Rockwell. I am glad that I read it. I think that if you want to learn some really cool things read it, then I suggest that you read this book, but I want to remind you to keep on open mind as you read it. On Tuesday, I went to devotional. It was great! I loved it! I really needed to hear what the speaker Brother J. D. Grffith.I have been studying my scriptures and learning a lot.

Well I think that really sums up the time in between posts. Till next time.
